First off, Doreen is the kindest person I have met in a very long time. Although I did not end up getting a dress from her. I knew i wasn't going to have anyone else touch my dress, but her. She is such a pleasure and a FANTASTIC seamstress and very fast, which are also rare. I wouldn't recommend anyone else, and definitely has some amazing dresses and some quinceñera dresses, so make sure to make an appointment and check her out.

My daughter flew into town the Monday before her Saturday wedding. She put her dress on so I could practice putting up the bustle. The person that had done her bustle in texas did it completely wrong. I called Doreen at Cinderella Cellar and explained the wedding was in 4 days. She said no worries and scheduled us an appointment. She looked at the bustle and started fixing it immediately. She then took the dress and had it ready for my daughter the next day. I did not buy my wedding dress from this shop, but I brought my wedding dress to this shop for my alterations. My first appointment was a couple months before my wedding, Doreen made all of the correct adjustments for me and my dress came out perfect! She even sewed in a sweet memorial on the bottom of my dress in honor of my grandfather. She also gave me lots of advice that I didn’t even know I needed to know about my dress, I’m so glad I went to her! The week before my wedding I was worrying that my dress wasn’t fitting me right, so I called Doreen and she fit me in the next day and showed me how to wear my dress so that it fit properly. She was very helpful, kind, and her prices for alterations were great. I had a great experience here and I am happy with the way my dress was taken care of for my wedding!

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Doreen and her shop! I came in with a very specific idea for the style bridal gown I wanted. In fact, Doreen had ordered a dress I saw online through her catalog free of charge, and it was ready for me when I arrived for my appointment. However, this style that I envisioned didn’t work well for my body type. Doreen was kind and patient as my mom and I looked at various gowns ands styles. She expertly guided us through this process so much that I felt beautiful the whole time, and she helped me maintain my confidence in finding the perfect dress, which I did! Doreen absolutely knows what she is doing and what style of dress looks good on a body. The dress I found is not a style I initially considered, but she brought out this beautiful gown and recommend I try it. The moment I saw myself in the mirror wearing this dress, I teared up. I saw myself walking down the aisle to my fiancé in this dress and I knew it was it. I would not have found my perfect dress without Doreen’s sage advice. I went to Cinderella Cellar twice. Once in January and later in March 2022. I fell in love with a dress but shopped around to make sure I wouldn't doubt my choice. Went back to try it back on and purchase. She indulged my friends desire to see more dresses than was needed and was so polite and welcoming. I was able to purchase and take home my dress because another women ordered the same dress but decided to go with another option so I was able to take home my dress same day. Doreen is definitely a fairy godmother🪄✨! She is so sweet and helpful! Her many years of experience shows while she guides you through dresses. She is very detail oriented. She is not pushy at all. I came to Cinderella Cellar because my best friend had such a good experience here. I met Doreen at my best friends fitting and loved her vibe! I was late to one of my appointments and she was not rude or annoyed with me. She even let me try on some gag dresses for a fun time. And took our group pictures. She also offered to obtain Loaner dresses for a dress that I might see online and like to try on. I went to a few other bridal shops and Cinderella Cellar and Doreen are my favorite! Dorleen is the owner and runner of this beautiful place. She is a VERY nice and hardworking business woman. I had an EMERGENCY wedding dress situation and I needed it altered when there was only 5 days before my wedding. Dorleen has been doing alterations for 28 years and did mine when other places said no. She started and finished it in one day and it looked/ fit perfect!!!! She is so kind and does everything herself. It cost me 370$ for my alterations which is cheaper then some pay and my dress was a ball gown. Doreen is such a sweet, kind and patience woman - not to mention talented. I tried doing the online thing and going to other big retailers, but just felt like the dresses were generic and it was difficult ordering sample online to try on. I wanted something off the shoulder and found a great option here. I read so many awesome reviews about her seamstress work that it wasn't worth the potential to save few bucks to risk someone butchering my dress, because I knew my dress would be in good hands with her. I recommend this place as a great way to support local shops and you definitely will be treated very well!

Number one bridal shop stop!

I came here to find a bridesmaids dress for my friends wedding and found the perfect dress and got engaged soon after. I knew I did not want a Davids Bridal experience. I also had heard she was one of the few shops who carried dresses in plus sizes which mattered to me because I didn't want to feel like a sausage in too small dresses.

I came in and tried on tons of gowns, Doreen picked some based on what styles I told her. She has different belts and accessories to try with your dress. I fell in love with two dresses and made a decision. We paid half and when I got home I looked back at the photos and realized the dress I really wanted wasn't the one we picked. I reached out to Doreen immediately and she said it wasn't a problem.

Loved my DIY experience at Cinderella Cellar. No hovering, no pushy sales people. Doreen is so sweet and she made everything perfect.

Of course right before the wedding I freaked out again about the dress thinking it was too plain and I should have gotten something with more bling, so I bought some tulle sleeves on Etsy and a beaded belt and a petticoat from amazon. Doreen added the final touches I wanted, and my dress was amazing! So simple and perfect!

They shipped the wrong size initially, and she made sure they sent the right size to her in a timely manner so my dress fit perfectly for my wedding day. I'll see if I can post a photo on her page. I highly recommend the Cinderella Cellar!

I got my wedding dress here. I had it shortened to tea length and she’s an amazing seamstress too. She is the most sincerely kind person I’ve ever dealt with in any bridal shop. I recommend her to all my friends because it’s the most personal shop to find a dress or accessories in Fresno. I first met her in 2003 when she was working out of her basement and have loved watching her business grow into the beautiful shop it is today.

I wish I could give Cinderella Cellar more than 5 stars! I live out of state but knew I wanted to wedding dress shop with all the women in my family so we met up in my hometown (Fresno) to do it. Cinderella Cellar was the first (and only!) place we went and we had a wonderful experience! I had a few horrible dress shopping experiences and was about to give up, but Doreen worked her magic and I found my perfect dress at Cinderella Cellar. She was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. She is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on what size I should get (I'm kind of between sizes) and recommended the option that would work best for me - not just what would make her the most money. The prices were very reasonable, and you know what you're paying for up front aka no hidden fees. I have so much respect for Doreen and she runs a respectful, genuine business that I love. I loved it so much I'm doing my alterations there next time I fly home!

Another huge bonus was that Doreen let me take the sample dress home to try on for my grandpa, who was unable to make it to the appointment. That meant SO much to me and my family, and he cried seeing me in my wedding dress (it was extra special because he won't be able to see me in it again since he can't attend my wedding in Colorado). This gesture was the kind of thing that you only get with a small, family-owed boutique and it only solidified my love for CC, Doreen and this whole experience 🙂

I'm so thankful I happened upon Cinderella Cellar on Yelp, it was a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend any bride looking for a reasonably priced bridal boutique with fantastic customer service!
